Norridge Bottom and the surrounding streets are home to businesses, makers, food and drink, interesting architecture and the sort of places you only discover by having a proper wander.
So before you head back to the finish, have one last mooch.
1. Shop somewhere independent – Find a gift, pick up something for yourself or simply have a browse.
2. Make something – Look out for hands-on activities such as pottery painting and other creative experiences.
3. Look at the buildings – Don’t just look through the shop windows. Look above them too.

Norridge Bottom developed as part of Holmfirth’s expanding textile community during the 18th and 19th centuries.
In the 19th century, the district gained a reputation for “lewd and disorderly behaviour”, showing a less polished side of Victorian town life.
Because the town is built on steep slopes, these buildings can appear two storeys high from Huddersfield Road but up to four storeys from Norridge Bottom.
